Is there anything to do in Qatar this month? (August)

Ok so I have been here in Qatar since the beginning of June and I had lots of things in my mind to do here. I asked about playing basketball in Aspire and they said they stopped sports until Ramadan is done. I asked other clubs and they said I had to be a member. So I got the whole basketball thing out of my head. I wanted to learn French and I called the French Cultral Centre and they said that they werent going to be working until September! Am I lucky or what? So I started searching 'stuff to do in Qatar' in Google but again nothing interesting or new. I tried looking for a summer job online but I can not seem to find any. So what I am trying to imply after writing this composition is do you know anything I can do this month in Qatar that would be useful.. learning basically? Like learning a sport, a language, a job, maths, sciences anything??

Your profile says that you are under 18..So does it mean that you want to utilize your SUMMER VACATION?? If yes, there were few questions related to youngsters asking for SUMMER JOB on QL..Kindly use the search button at the top right side of the QL screen to give you a brief idea about it..

Or, apart from your hobbies that you have mentioned above, if you are interested for PET SITTING to utilize your summer time, look into the classified section of QL then...

Or, catch some new movies this time..Or watch some informative channels to increase your knowledge..

Sad to admit, but during summer time life in qatar slows down even more. Especially this year Ramadan starts on August 11th… so what do you expect? Just focus on spiritual improvement during holy Ramadan, pray, read religious books, find a peace in your soul. After Ramadan schools and clubs will be re-open..

Although you still can read books on line..
