If you go along B-ring road and towards the end of the Crazy signal, there are several travel agencies that do the umrah visa applications. We used Badr Travel on B-ring road. Their phone no. is 44371041.
The umrah visa itself is free. But in order to get the visa, you need to go via a travel agent who will charge you for applying the visa on your behalf to the Saudi embassy here in Doha. You can't apply the visa directly yourself to the Saudi embassy, it won't be entertained.
Depending on the travel agent, the 'application' fee charged ranges between QR300 to QR500 per person. This is the so called 'hardship' fee the agent impose for doing all the work for you.
When you go the agent, bring with you 2 passport photos with white background of each of the intended pilgrim, copies of each RP and the fees.
The processing of the visa takes normally a week but can stretch up to 2 weeks. I speaking from experience as we performed the umrah in Feb this year.
Good luck. May your umrah be accepted by Allah SWT.
