I have been to Makkah and Medina several times by road. If you need guidance can call me on my land line number 44810952 at 9PM on working days or around 2PM on Fridays. Try calling from a land line phone as the conversation may be long.

As salaamualaikum, you can take your personal vehicle if owned by you. If have bank loan you need a no objection letter from bank to travel for umrah.

what are the procedures, what best agency to get visa? and how much?Best ways to go there?Al hammadi travels near jaidah tower cost around 150-200 Qar for visa per person.

how much KM from DOHA to MKKAH? From doha border its apporx 1340 kms

how much KM from DOHA to MADINAH? Madinah to doha border approx 1300 kms

How much KM from MKKAH to MADINAH? Around 450 kms

How much does it cost single room hotels in both locations?it depends on the hotel you choose.. try www.booking.com for estimates ..the rates on this site is actually bit high but you can choose your hotel and contact them directly or thru travel agents.

I am writing this with my past experience and not as an expert

Private car should be owned by you.If it is under bank loan you have to get a clearance letter from the bank. umrah visa will be processed by many travel agencies.

When you enter the Saudi boarder you should take saudi insurance for the car.

Doha to Makkah it is almost 1500 km and you can go thru the saudi national highway No 40 thru Hufuf, Riyadh,Taif

Near the Thaif is the place for entering Ihram.(meekath)

Makkah to Madeena almost 450 km

From Madeena to Riyadh ther is National Highway which passes thru Buraidha and from Riyadh to Doha the same highway described before

All these high ways you get get petrol bunk, shopping markets, vehicle repairing garages and resting places almost within 1 to 2 hours journey interwals

I hope this will help you somewhat
