'Scientists at Qatar University claim'--you had me interested until I saw that. If the technology is developed, it won't be that group doing it.

Hobbits will attract thousands of British and Australians with hairy-footed fetishes. Not to mention that hobbits are the perfect height for many other delights...such as hobbit throwing. It'll at least give the poor pub dwarves a rest.

Awesome idea but it has too many what ifs. What about the noise? A screaming ball of fire raining down on football fans if/probably when, it ignites. The driver/guy with the remote control gets sidetracked and starts watching the game or is too drunk to operate the thing.

A roof with air conditioning would be more appropriate.

Better still, just move the Qatar '22 world cup to New Zealand and be done with it. Everything solved. Booze and drunken Brits flowing freely in the streets, Bacon buttys and nice and cool. We just might need some heaters in the stadiums.

Machine sometimes failed.

This not smart solution at all.

Interesting topic.

But it is highly unlikely that mechanical airborne cover will actually provide the stadiums with the relief and respite of the heat and humidity over the summer months.
