Indian Owners sack Coach Sammy
What are these owners thinking? Coming into the busy xmas period for teams, Rovers doing alright up until the loss to Bolton. They go and sack the coach with no replacement in sight. I love the quote about Sam not fitting into the long term plan. They want to play entertaining football, and win, and be 4th or 5th in the league. But in the Jan transfer window the coach will only have 5m to spend. Do these owners actually think before they make these hairbrain decisions? I thought it was bad enough been a Liverpool fan, OK it was bad after the Newcastle game, but I'd be seriously worried if I was a Rovers fan...stick to chicken farming Venky's!!!

Grant or Houghton???
Avram Grant is supposedly next... I for one will not have any sympathy for him..
However, I think Martinez will walk before he's pushed....
Is this the most sympathetic spell of sacked managers ever?
I can't recall the media really getting behind anyone as much, usually they are driven out by crazy fans baying for their blood.
Houghton, Allardyce....even Martin O'Neill got sympathy for resigning.
haha go the Warne Dawg, gotta love him!
brit, i've always admired his work off the pitch.
He's getting knackered by tonking Liz hurley ....
apparently the owners are thinking of a cricketing influence for the next manager, shane warne!
you heard it here first.
Allardyce is a seriously good manager, embracing new technology and tactics.
Would be delighted to have him at the Wolves (I think i say that about every manager, but you won't hear a word from me when Avram Grant goes :-p
He has been unlucky in his past 2 posts, Newcastle and Blackburn, ousted before he had time to do anything.
The miracle he worked at Bolton wasn't instant.
Get him in as England manager, he seems no nonsense and won't take all the prima-donna cr*p.
As Brit said, top 4 or 5? It took Spurs ages to get there, what have they witnessed on the pitch to make them think they can be top 5?
Puzzling.
Makes as much sense as Chelsea sacking Ray Wilkins or Newcastle sacking Chris Hughton.
Fergie must be quaking in his boots ;o)
"We want good football and Blackburn to be fourth or fifth in the league or even better."
With the resources at their disposal, Blackburn should be happy to be in the top ten....

haha could be right there Brit....some of the players that the new owners have been looking at are laughable, apparently Sam didn't agree with their choices of prospects in Jan....seriously what would chicken farmers know over Sam when it comes to picking/scouting new players.
I think that this time they bought a Turkey :O(
