It's sad to read this story, but well, the boy's a fighter!
Father-son success stories are very much part of sports lore. Prodigal sons failing to match up with the charisma of illustrious fathers also find their place in history. But cases of fathers neglecting their sons are rare and Malaysia’s Kamran Khan, belongs to that trait.
Born as Pakistani squash legend Jansher Khan’s son, Kamran did not get due attention. His mother was a squash fan who met Jansher during a tournament in England, where they started a relationship. But Jansher, whose rivalry with compatriot Jehangir Khan is legendary, refused to accept him as his son.

It is a controversial issue. The two were not married, and if he really be the son of Jansher, then he is a bastard. Procreants of bastardy rarely, if ever, become a pride for their parentage.
Regardless of this issue, Jansher is a shining star of the Squash galaxy, one that outshines all of the rest except of course Jahangir of whose fathom there is none else.
Very beautifully and emotionally created thread, but for the time just consider him an asset to his country and sports.
yeah its really sad that you invest all this time to find out wats going bad in other countries and ignoring problems in your own country
recently for the Qatar International Squash Championship. he has come up the strong way and the future may well belong to him. He has the pedigree and the motivation.
We may just not have heard the last of him!
