It's time to conquer this desert

My dear sisters and brothers,

The weather's become better and better, and it's a good time to challenge this desert. ha ha ha I'll going to Al Khor by walk and this great day is set on 29-Oct (^_^)

For those people who are interested in this suffering, contact me, let's march together. This 10-hour would be an unforgettable nightmare for sure, and a good memory in Doha, at the same time.

Thanks

Yujia

I'm taking off tomorrow, around 11am, from Doha Golf Club. If I can come back alive, I'll put some photos here. ha ha ha

It took me 7 hours and a half to finish this journey from the roundabout by golf club to the petrol station near twin tower. much difficult than I thought. a real training day. 4 litre water is not enough to drink. I used up all the water I took 3 km before the twin tower. On my way back, I took the bus 102X, 7 riyals for adult ticket.

maybe one or two towel is useful. when the sunlight is strong you may soak the towel with water and wrap it in your head. it will help you from heat stroke

I might not have that ability to run in the desert.

If possible, let me know when you run next time.

Maybe, I could have a try.

I bought the followings in Al Saad: knife, sun-hat, essential balm, mirror, lighter

and I'll hunt for a good sun-glasses in CityCentreMall tonight, maybe, a travel bag, or something. RAKA and ZhenXing all show the interest, but haven't decided.

ha ha (^_^)

If I can find some friends here who can walk with me, we'll discuss the exact time and starting point together.

If not, that day, I'll take off around 6am, from Landmark Shopping Mall.

I previously set that date on 16-Oct,but there is a Banana Island Trip organized by Recreation Centre of QF, and I have to go there with my friends.

The end of Oct is a good time, as you said, won't as hot as now. Many thanks, you are the path-finder of our people,ha ha :)

1) If we spend several hours in that Irish pub at Thursday night, headache will come on Friday, for sure.

2) Tanned skin is great, sexy!

3) I've been proud of quite a few stupid things I did before, most people feel the same, I'm sure.

Please be very careful... The heat and dehydration can be surprising here.. What you need is someone in a car giving you regular refreshments..

y the walk is only for one day??it will be tiresome and people will sleep for the other whole day

--Kisa, I can not understand what you've put on.

--Shapil, this's my first time to do such thing, and I finished 10K run through Liverp'l Tunnel with 55 mins. The good thing is that, I'M FAT, ha ha. Yes, I'll walk along the highway, so, I won't lose my way. Of course, I'll keep 50 meters away from the highway. it should be ok.

Thanks
