Thanks LincolnPirate. Will keep that in mind when the track becomes boring, But i prefer driving like a maniac where I wont run the risk of hurting someone and being deported :)

Mullahboy, thank you for the info. Looking forward to testing out whatever car i can twist my husbands arm to buy for me. I noticed that you dont find many subarus in the middle east (my weapon of choice) or even many Mitsobishi Evos :( Know thay not super fast, but they are buckets of fun.

Hi Scooby Chick, You & your Husband will be made more than welcome on track days at Losail Race Track. The track days are run by the QMMF for bikes & cars. The track season is shortly coming to a close for a couple of months for the summer. There is also a very competetive sprint competition were basically anyone can join (Male or Female)with not too much fuss or tough regulations. Drop me an e-mail through Qatar Living with your e-mail address and I will pass on some info and dates of the track days / sprints.

You can use any road as a race track. That's what everybody does here.
