Qatar's bid to host the 2022 World Cup could pose a potential health risk because of the midsummer heat despite proposals for cooling the stadiums, FIFA said on Wednesday in its technical report.

...All these news events suddenly appearing are just a reason, but more than that 2022 is still a long way, sufficient to prepare for any of these things.

Also big companies are surely lobbying in favor of a country that needs development and is rich enough to pay big projects...so this is for the big business reason, as football has lost its appeal on the sport side a long time ago...sorry but i believe FIFA is doing business, not sport.

And more behind of course...

MLK what a load of Bollocks....Qatar was the only country of the bidding nations to be given a HIGH risk rating, even Russia only got a medium one. Adn we are to believe that you have info that Qatar have already won the bid...give me a break...you probably don't even know what day of the week it is

I call it more a trick than a news or even a problem, they already won the deal. Qatar will host the WC 2022
