BEWARE!!! I just asked my colleague at the office who's been in Qatar for 25 years and he said the most common shark in these waters IS THE WHITE SHARK! And since seeing is believing, go to the corniche opposite the museum in the morning where fishermen come in their launches and sell fish and you will see baby sharks in their catches! And I presume that means there must be lotsa pi**ed off moma sharks out there too!
When I was on the plane approaching Doha from UAE, I was looking down into the beautiful blue waters just off theqatari coast. I kept noticing white figures in the water and when we descended a bit, I realised that I was looking at some sort of fish. I don't know if they were sharks, but to be able to see them from an aeroplane at a 1000ft they must have been real BIG. And there were so many of them! I really hope they weren't sharks otherwise I'm taking a machine gun along next time I get in a boat :))
Probably the safest seas in the world with regard to sharks.
Water far too warm for the great white so that is nonsense.
One thing to consider with sharks is that they have to eat. The inshore waters of the arabian gulf are very low on fish. Just have a look under the water.
Sharks that are present will be a good boat ride out and they will be smaller rather than larger and therefore super unlikely to attack man.
Well i go fishing and swimming alot here in doha and ive never heard of any shark attacks, but i do know there are sharks, dolphins and whales in Qatar, which i find hard to beleive, but a good Qatari fisherman friend of mine told me... so beware!!

Sharks are definitely there, both onshore and offshore
Sharks are always present. They just wait for teasers. So dont tease them else you would be definitely attacked and lose what you dont want to lose.

There are sharks in all ocean going waters but an attack is unlikely unless you are diving where baiting is going on.
Sharks found locally, are the Nurse Shark, Gray Reef Shark, Blacktip Reef Shark, Whale Shark and the Great White Shark
(I got that form Google) many other hits as well.
Call one of the diving shops and ask them, diving is big over here, water is so warm.
