SOP swimming tests begin on Monday
The swimming tests for boys preparatory schools at the sixth edition of the Schools Olympic Program (SOP) began at the swimming pool of Al-Arabi Sports Club on Monday.
Monday’s tests were held under supervision of the Qatar Swimming Association and featured the participation of 268 students from 33 schools.
Mr. Ibrahim Al-Rumaihi, Director of SOP Swimming Operations said that participating schools in Monday’s tests are Abu Baker Al-Saddiq, Birla Public School, Khalid bin Ahmad, Ibn Khaldoun, Al-Khor, Bright Future, Al-Yarmouk, Al-Razi, Sri Lankan, Mohammad bin Jassim, Salahadin, Al-Shahaniya, Hamza bin Abdulmutaleb, Global Academy, Newton, Al-Furqan, Al-Noor, Al-Shammal, Usama bin Zayed, Abdulrahman bin Jassim, Doha, Musaieed, Al-Imam Al-Shafay, Omer bin Al-Khatab, Al-Andalus, Tunisian School, Al-Ahnaf bin Qaisa and Iranian School.
The swimming tests for boys secondary schools will be held on Tuesday while the tests of boys primary schools will be staged on Wednesday and Thursday.
