Bid

Qatar 2022 bid committee has launched their official merchandise store at their website. I checked the site and the products on offer looks promising.

http://eshop.qatar2022bid.com/

I liked the fact that there is a little drop down box which states the prices of product in USD and QAR. Neat little touch. I think the items are priced fairly as well.

What do you guys think? Have anyone brought from there already? What have your experience been? Did you like it?

P.S: Please, no bashing on this thread. It is not meant to discus whether Qatar will win the 2022 bid or not. This is only to discus what people think about the site and the items on offer.

I know who they are and what they were accused of doing that is why I call them greedy parasites in action.

Blatter is President and Jack Warner is Vice President. Stick Jack's name in google and read the investigations against him. For him to still be involved at the highest levels of the game is a disgrace...

It should be great ideal to give helping hand and advertised, but really, the issues should bore down to address common concerns and shortfalls by the world communities and of those from the organising bodies, who in the end will give the final vote.

I won't be buying these! They should be paying ME to advertise on their behalf!!

Yeah, ask Sepp Blatter and Jack Warner where all their money comes from, especially Jack and his son's companies.... the motto of FIFA is screw the brown and take the pound....

robert,

that's against FIFA's ethics!

Please read my post again. FIFA may state 'say no to racism' but its a slogan. They care more about the money....

Regardless if those countries qualify or not for the world cup, they are populated by human beings which are included in FIFA's anti-racism policy!

FIFA cares about them too!

By anonymous• 20 Jan 2010 10:02

Correct Nic, but those countries never qusalify for a WC!

Of course FIFA does not embrace racism but it likes money more....

robert,

FIFA is NOT only the world cup!

And it sure does not embrace racism:

http://www.fifa.com/aboutfifa/worldwideprograms/footballforhope/news/newsid=518222.html

As discussed here (http://www.qatarliving.com/node/822615) Qatar stands no chances for many many reasons and for allowing the promotion of racist public behavior!

By anonymous• 19 Jan 2010 10:50

No Muhandis they'll be ok, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philipinees, Sri Lanka never qualify for the World Cup....

It will be much more effective for the committee to give some efforts to reduce / eliminate racist policy implemented by many malls here where they allow bachelors from some races and ban other races to enter during family days. FIFA always campaigns anti racism around the world and I believe this kind of policy / practice in the bidding countries will be taken into consideration by FIFA.

These T-shirts should be distributed free of cost.

As it was during the Olympic bid. Whenever we went to watch Tennis at Khalifa Tennis stadium they gave us one of these T-shirts.
