I wouldn't right Portugal off as they are more than just Ronaldo. Their first 11 is not bad and they have some real quality there and expect them to give Spain a tough game, however the Germans do look like they are going to win the whole thing as they should beat an average Italian side.

Portugal are a one man team. Spain should beat them though.

Germany should easily beat Italy and I now predict them to go on to win the whole thing.

They are playing the most attractive football (As an Englishman I cannot believe I am saying this!) Spain can keep the ball (which cannot be too hard when you don't play any strikers!) but that's why they haven't been very exciting to watch this tournament.

As for England, yes we were poor, but still didn't loose in normal play. The expectations were the lowest they've been for years as well.

Supporting your county is for life not just a tournament so I'll be trying to get to as many games as possible. Ironically our next game is a friendly against Italy in August.

Spain is going to meet Portugal and it is not an easy fruit for Spain.

christian ronaldo can not win anything on his own!!!

he has too big a head to win anything!

pride leads to downfall no matter who you are and what you do!

i know! england should have been 3 nil down by first half!

they were lucky to take it to the penalties! but luck seem to defy them in penalties!

lost 6 of the last 7 penalty shootouts!

What i find strange is that they bring on an old fashioned centre forward like Carrol and then rather than pumping in crosses to him, they play inside and on the ground :O(

England played terribly. They were hoping to defend a draw and win on penalties. Didn't work out.

In my opinion, neither team would beat Germany in the semi final anyway, so thanks Italy for putting us out of our misery.

Well they couldn't find a team mate with a pass from 12 yards, so trying to score from that distance was impossible.

They were useless and totally outplayed by Italy. The penalty issue paints a different story of the match.

well to be so honest with the match facts.

Italy deserve to WIN, the possession was 63% to Italy as well they were having the ball all the time...they missed 20 chances...they played better, they deserve it

Karam, no way England deserved to win that game last night.
