Where can I buy a decent Snooker Cue in Qatar
Hi Everyone
Now that I am in Qatar (without the wife) I find myself spending increasing amounts of time playing snooker (15 reds, 6 colours - not pool) and I want to know if there is anywhere in Qatar where I can buy a decent cue?

Mr Mode ... you can check the snooker cue at AL - SALAM MALL ... ( place mamoora) .. not best but i can say they have good collection according other shops ... My contact number is 66786637 ..

Check in Nero Bianco. They have Snooker and Pool Cues upstairs.
the shop called Snooker Company (close to old Mercedes Showroom) is now closed and I am not too sure where they have moved to. I had bought two cues from them (WIRAKA) and they were reasonablly good. I checked out Olympic sports but they only have a few but only one piece.
OK, soI hae trawled every shop mentioned for a cue. Don't bother with the shop at Vellagio - all the snooker cues are like bananas.
Shop near WOQOD roundabout was OK, only had about 8 cues and they were all 910QR's. Not good enough to warrant that amount.
Hot shots had about 8 cues, each 192 QR's and am probably going to get one of these for now. At least they were straight but all one piece cues.
City Centre shops - only the Sports Corner on 3rd floor worth looking at. Not bad selection and not too warped. Carbon Fibre cues probably worth the 69 QR they cost as they are straight.
If it is pool cues you are after look no further than HOtshots!

If you are coming from WOQOD patrol station located at main road of MUSHEIRIB AREA, just go on straight and you will find it on your right
.
Another one i have located on MATAR STREET after airport towards WAKRAH. Just keep on looking at your right and you will see one shop named HOT SHOTS
