I have one son, David, who is 18 and a freshman at Texas State University. He has earned the rank of Eagle with the Boy Scouts of America.
I grew up in Louisiana and lived in the New Orleans area for 20 years. We moved to Kyle, Texas four years ago which was three years after Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana.
I have been an educator for over 20 years where I taught health, physical education and English (language arts). I earned a Masters of Education degree and begun teaching adapted physical education to students with disabilities. I also became a certified Special Olympics coach and the Area Director for Jefferson Parish.
My little dog, Dutch, and I will be heading over to teach at the English Modern School at Al Wakrah. I will be teaching KG1.
