I am also interested in securing a position at the Asian Games so the comments posted here have been very helpful. I currently live in Vancouver, the host city for the 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Games and am hoping to get some Games experience to increase my chances of working at the Vancouver Games and to overcome the fact that I am not fluently bilingual (French/English), a requirement in my area of expertise (communications). I have media relations experience at various World Cups as well as PGA golf...also some experience in sponsorship, protocol, television and events. For those of you who already have jobs, did you apply for a specific posting or would you advise sending in your resume to HR and/or the department head for the area in which you are interested in working? Any other hints?
Appreciate the advice!
