Dweller is right, customs are more relaxed now. Have the ham in an unlabeled food bag, and not too much (about a kg). I bring mine from Dubai either Stop and save/shop or choitrams, lals, luv the chops, spare-ribs.

I got caught once with a large quantity (as we were having a bbq) at customs and the officer mentioned that they are aware that people are bringing Pork products to Qatar but the officials turn a blind eye to it, unless the quantity is large and the officials feel it is for profit purposes. Well at this time it was confiscated and I was detained at the customs office for about an hour, they threated to deport me. Well i am still here. And i still bring in pork ham, bacon, chops etc only in small quantities (Max about 3 kg)
