Why do they call it a "compound"? That word just scares me a bit for some reason. How are the houses? Nice? Small? Old? New? Roomy? Are women treated well? A few have told me it isn't good. And those that did tell me are red necks who only believe what they see on t.v. So what is it like? Can I go places with just the kids and not my husband.
