A big qatari bank is offering me 4,400 Qatari Rial a month for a financial risk analyst position.
They will pay for the accomodation and cost of living expenses (except food).
I've only had slightly over 1 year of experience but I have a master's degree in finance.
Is this pay alright? Will I be able to save enough?
If food is around 1,200 QR a month, I'd end up with 3,200 QR.
For comparative purposes, the same job here in the philippines pays around 1,200 QR with the tax already deducted.
Is this worth it? I can't make up my mind because getting the job will make me pass up a possible grad school scholarship in the UK next year (around 50% chance).
