Your work week and work hours?
Health/medical benefits?
Your pay should be specifically stipulated. If there is a short term pay differental, maybe during the manditory 3-month probationary period, it should be disclosed.
When & how do you get paid?
Are their provisions for bonus/performance pay?
What type of accomidation, equal to 4 or 5 star hotel?
How many people would you be sharing the accomidation with?
How will the food be handled?
Confirm the flights:
Are there limitations on when you can use the flights?
Do you require a long notice before using?
Are you constrained to use a certain airline?
How do they deal with baggage and weight? Excess baggage or weight could be costly>
Vacation:
How much do you get and when can you use?
Working days or calender days?
Read the local country employment laws. In Qatar, as I understand, once you have completed a contract you must leave the country for 2-years unless the company will issue a NOC which I have heard is difficult to get.
Remember, if at all possible, get it in writing. This being your first engagement, it may not be helpfull to ask or demand too many things but every company appreciates someone who thinks before they act.
