There is a big push on at the moment to secure charity status or funding for the shelter to stay open if atal possible. QAWS are not accepting animals at the moment and are making concentrated (successful) efforts to re-home the animals currently in the shelter.

Lets hope that the attempts are successful and that the animals are all re-homed, placed in temporary foster homes or ultimately the shelter manages to secure it's future and stay open.
