I think that Vodafone did not give farther information about lunching date, offers and service because of two things:
1 - there is some problems in regulation her in Qatar because the lows give Qtel so many rights to protect the monopoly of the telecommunication sector e.g. if Vodafone wants to release new services or offers they should take a permission from Qtel.
2 - Qtel is eager to know Vodafone new planes in Qatar so they can prepare them selves, and if you notice the new services and offers that Qtel is trying to prompt.
but I think it is too late for Qtel, customers are already waiting Vodafone and for my self I will switch to Vodafone even if the rates are higher and the services are worst to get even with Qtel.
