Although alcohol is distributed and consumed in most Muslim countries, I do understand bkk’s concern. The fact that most Muslims do not support the consumption of Alcohol and that other Muslims do own such distribution centres are not a laughing matter.
Just like when Catholics in Spain for example despise drugs and many small joints in the same country are also owned and run by Catholics.
Nationality or Religion is not the point here and I don’t know why many threads drift off in that direction.
Merely because Qatar used to be a very quite and serene place and you never used to hear about any drink or drug related incidents and many locals prefer to keep it this way.
I personally think that whoever wants to drink has the right to do so specially when the local laws allows it. Still I do respect local people’s opinion.
