Wow - some proper hostility at the moment. But lets get realistic, wherever you are, be it in the West, Middle East or Asia women are going to get harassed. Doha is not the little town it was a few years ago, it's becoming a major city. And with that comes increased crime and delinquency. It is inevitable. Yeah, women do get harrassed and I am by no means condoning it but it happens all over the world. Tell me the difference between a women getting stared at in a shopping centre by an Asian/Arab and getting stared at in a bar by a Brit or American? Not much if you ask me.
And should anything further happen then security/police should be called. But there is no point swearing at people, because if they make a complaint you are in the wrong. You may not like it, but it's true.
Dont want to sound like an a$$ but accept that there is a huge amount of third world mentality here, i.e. men are superior. But getting offensive and angry won't help you.
