In Qatar:
- Expat population represents 83% of total population
- Expat workforce represents 89% of total workforce
If there is another country that presents the same ratio of Expat to Nationals and if in that same country the problems YOU are arguing about are inexistent then the "Lack of social discipline" is a cultural issue. If such social mixture is no where else to be found then the battle is definitely inadequate.
- People are talking about two social groups: Expats and Nationals.
- People are saying that believes and ways of interaction and behavior of Nationals towards Expats is wrong and disrespectful.
I say that we cannot argue about this because:
The social Group Expat is a multicultural group, diverse and complex.
The social Group Nationals emerges from a unique cultural background.
- The Superiority/VIP issue
Nationals are protected by State rules and regulations.
Nationals have the land and share resources of the land.
Expats work in National owned/controlled companies.
Expats are expats, different, foreigners, strangers, GUESTS.
The real issue is:
If we play cards together, and you have a Joker that you can use as a SUPERIOR card at any time Will you use it or no?
If I give you superiority what will you do with it?
In some States of the "Free World USA" owners have the right to shoot you if you enter their property.
What would you say about that?
