Okay, I am not so dumb that I don't know what Asia is. But what do we mean by Asians? My Phillipino colleagues consider themselves and their "oriental" neighbors such as Indonesians, Japanese, Koreans, etc as similar. They feel that they share physical and emotional characteristics with other Oriental nationalities but consider that they have nothing in common with people from the sub continent or Arabs. And yet, they are all Asians. The term Asian seems to be too wide to have any meaning.
