Its nit like there is a dearth of accommodation. i have seen dozens of compounds with dozens of villas lying vacant for over six months but still the landlords refuse to let them for less! this amounts to thousands of riyals of loss per month. how can they maintain themselves? simple rules of economics say if there is ample supply the price will come down but they(the landlords) are deliberately hoarding the property to keep the prices high!
