I used to worked for a multinational IT company back home. We used to have expat colleagues before the internet bubble burst. What I vividly remember was sometimes in our meetings there would be heated exchanges that most often lead to off-topic comments and nasty remarks. We locals would at times be shocked and scandalized by their heated exchanges. But you know after the meeting is over, they go out laughing and having dinner together as if nothing happened.
We locals always think that can never happen between us because we really tend to remember the personal remarks and nasty comments. But to them it was just part of the discussion.
So I think it is the same here. We should not take everything seriously and tend to become the disciplinary police or the sheriffs of QL and shoot down everyone who we think is not at par with our disciplinary pedestal.
Just another two cents worth.... (count it 4 cents because I gave 2 yesterday...lol)
