I understood your post exactly the right way I think, and that sentence you are referring to was not to offend you!
If you read your own post, you might recognize that the first paragraph could be interpreted as arguments against god. You state that religion is something bad, because a lot of people were killed during the ancient times and even nowadays.
That is why I am asking counter questions and why I said that you have no clue on the things you are stating, as in my opinion you didn't take a look from all sides.
Furthermore you yourself say that this has to do with greek and roman religion, becasue in line 3 of your post you said that this is general!
I am not blaming you or trying to provocate, I just can't take it when someone blames me on not understanding a topic of dscussion, after I referred in a proper way when writing the answer. I am just answering on your arguments!
