imagine u r using an internet banking site, for instance HSBC.
1 day, u get an email saying HSBC internet banking having a promo, or something like that, and it requires u to click the site given. Never ever do this...
If you click, it will open a HSBC site, with the same looks and everything as the original HSBC internet banking site.
After u login, and submit ur passwor, you do your daily routine of checking your account, your balance, credit card thingy, but on the site that is not the original HSBC, which of course unknown to u.
Now... because of that, the bad guys have your id, and password, and within minutes, they can go to the original HSBC internet banking, and take out all your money.
This is what PISHING is all about. So if you recieve an email or some thing of the like, just ignore it.
Internet security here is ok. Never heard about any hackers yet in qatar.
