Is virtually the same as the Liverpool accent, called "Scouse".

A long time ago Liverpool had a Lancashire accent, what some of you would recognise as a north of England accent.

Then a lot of Irish moved to England during the potato famine and many of them stayed in Liverpool.

The Irish accent mixed with the Lancashire accent produced the scouse accent.

There have been times when I have been speaking to someone and they have asked me what part of Ireland I come from.

I try not to let my accent some out too strong as it can sound horrible, but I like the mix in it.

Even today you can be in Liverpool talking to really strong scouse accents the drive for 5 minutes to sonewhere just outside Liverpool and they all talk with Lancashire accents.

I love England for that.

Wealso tend to roll al of our words into one.
Example;

"Do you know what I mean?" will come out as;
"J'noworrameen, like?"

The funniest thing I have heard Scousers say is.

"They don't talk like we do though, do they thouhg?"

It sounds like this;
"De don't talk like we doo do doo de do?"

Call me Maninibat!
