try to check out apollo clinic as well. i liked the ob their because she knows how to take care of her patients. am also on the way. already 8mos preggy. :)
i used to go to this clinic in al sadd but gosh, that ob gyne is just making money and i don't think she's good. she doesn't have any relationship with her patients!!! imagine, you'll have to wait for an hour (MINIMUM) or two then when it's your turn, she will just talk to you for 2 minutes!!! even my ultrasound was so bad.
take extra precaution during your first trimester because this is where you're very, very delicate. avoid slips and falls, walk very carefully.
also, it's best if you open your file in hamad on your 7th month. your gyne will give you a recommendation letter. prepare your resident id copy, marriage certificate, passport copy. it'll take a while before you can get an appointment. this is also stressful for me. everytime you have a check up, waiting period is average of 2 weeks!
i suggest if you can give birth in your country, it's still best to consider that as an option.
you can see your ob gyne whenever you're convenient, that's what am doing now. esp on your 8th month, you have to see the doctor every after two weeks.
