With this price, there r lot, it depends mainly on ur needs, if u r working with photoshop or 3d max , go to apple of course, if its for daily use through internet and office work then all r lot of good brands, all r similar in specifications, but every body is going to say u about his experiance with his brand, for me i think Dell,Compac, HP, Toshiba, Sony, Acer, LG, FUji simens, and at the end buy wat u feel u want to start with, my regards
