I was born and live in the UK and I am ashamed of the way you have been treated on your visit. I have a little 2 year old boy and it frightens me too when we go out that we may get harassed. My family and I are Muslim, but I do not wear the Hijjab, but my sister and her husband are very practicing. She wears the Hijjab and he has a beard, they were both born in the UK and sound very English when they speak. But I have seen the way people treat them when they go out and the way they are looked at. I worry about what lays ahead for them in the UK. Every time there is a 'terror' scare
they always have to be careful because of the back lash from ignorant people. We are moving to Doha soon inshallah... I only hope it will be better, if not for me but for my son.
