Is education in Qatar really on the decline? I'm sure that compared to ten years ago the standard of education is much better. Although I would agree that educational standards in Qatar are not world class yet, they are still improving year by year.
The independent schools now have purpose built campuses with architecture that is focused around the students' learning. Additionally they have they have the latest IT equipment and interactive whiteboards that are comparable to western schools.
You have to bare in mind that Qatar is trying to achieve what the west took hundreds of years to do. It will take time for Qatar's education to become world class but at the current rate it won't take that long.
