At the end of the day there are three factors to consider.
Is the location important to you?
(You might like the area or feel there is more room for promotion or cost of living might be lower)
Are you going to go to a better/easier job?
Go where you will get the best possible deal.
You are getting great Housing and Transport Allowance.
I'm a Qatari National and I think that Salary is great, especially since you have allowances.
You are basically getting almost everything fully paid for!
Yes rent is high, but with that rent allowance, you're getting almost 80% of a nice accommodation. Or you can find a place which is much cheaper.
Guys, when you get housing, insurance, medical, extra tickets, education, dental, transport, furniture allowance, AND interest free loans if requested, there is no doubt in my mind that it is a great deal.
I will NEVER find all of that in the UK unless I get lucky. That's why I gave up a job with Sony London to come back to Qatar.

The point is youre saving 3500 dollars a month.
Obviously if you're making more it's great.
