Just to add to the previous comments, in my opinion, Sheraton's Brunch on Fridays at Shaheen's at the top, is one of the best for the quality/price ratio. I've been to all brunches once, but i've returned to the Sheraton 4 or 5 times in a year and a half. The view is fantastic if you ask to sit by the Four Seasons' side. Unlimited bubbly also helps.
Landmark has a lot of stuff for Brits, like the food mart has lot of British imports and so on, and there's of course Marks and Spencers (if that's the kinda place you go to...).
