It's the same in the UK.... Tesco's closes at 10pm on Saturday and nobody is allowed in after 9:45
Basically it means that people can finish what they're doing once they're in but they have to finish by 10pm or be kicked out.
And if you're not in by 9:45 they don't let anyone in.
