You should not think about it a lot. People in Seychelles are the most wonderful people I have met. They are happy, maybe not very rich but with music, beer, the sea and love they have all what they want!
They are extremely polite, they can stop to say hello and to ask you how you are even if they do not know you.
The place is just a paradise, 30 degrees all year, mountains for walking trips, beautiful beaches and not one single dangerous animal.
So most probably you will be busy with sun burn and small headaches as a Doctor.
Just a strange thing : the driver of the public bus is a women, the person putting petrol in our car is a women, the person at the cashier a women too....and so on...I haven't seen a lot of guys working in this island :-) Since then, my husband is dreaming to go and live in Seychelles :-)
The island it is true is quite small and there is not thousand of things to do (but same for Qatar) so you will be happy if you have some hobbies : photography, reading, gardening...
Life is quite expensive as well so you should check prices to rent (if the hotel does not provide accommodation).
And if you miss busy life, crowds and shops you are only 4 hours away from Dubai.
For knowing the 2 places and would definitely say Seychelles (and I like Qatar)!
