My question was very specific to people living in certain parts of the world where they have not moved out of their village, let alone hear of Islam.
There so many places still existing in this world where members of that community have no knowledge of anything beyond their village.
How do you expect them to 'discover' Islam by using their brain when they haven't even heard of it? All they have been doing is following the religion they've learnt from their parents/ancestors. Even if by chance, if they did hear of Islam from somewhere, lets say television or radio. They'd probably discount it as the wrong religion. Can you imagine someone walking upto you and saying Islam is not the right religion but some other religion is. How would you take that? You'd probably say he's gone nuts!
Also my question regarding people who died unaware of Islam wasn't about the people in the past, I was asking about the ones in today's times. What happens to them? Do the burn in fire because they died as Kaafir's or goto heaven cos they were simply the deprieved ones and no one reached them to teach about Islam?
If they do goto heaven, then why wasn't I lucky enough to be in that guy's place? Atleast he had his fair share of fun growing up doing whatever he liked to do and ended up going to heaven eventually. Was life fair to me?
