Why not train both dogs at the same time? It shouldn't be a problem to have both dogs at the house as you will only be training your dog for a maximum of one hour per day and this should be split up into several periods of 10-20 minutes throughout the day. I have never known an owner with more then one dog have any problems with training. I have 9 in my house and I'm constantly working with one or the other. If you need your dog to concentrate, shut the other dog in the garden for 10 minutes or in the kitchen.
It would be better to train the dogs with as much familiarity around as possible. If you remove one dog for 3 months, re-introducing them could be a big problem and may set back all the training you did with your other dog.
Generally you can train the 5 basic obedience commands in 4-6 weeks if done properly so you certainly wouldn't need the husky gone for 3 months.
If you would like help with training, please call Lucielle on 521 5843.
