Nobody ever advertises for grads in an expat situation, those who do get employed do so because they have been clever enough to seek out the actual people responsible for hiring and convince them the are worth the paper thier degrees are written on. Faxing and telephoning will not get your CV beyond the receptionist's B1N 1T file.

I guess your "Top Ten" university didn't include inititive or lateral thinking in its curriculum, preffering to concentrate on training you to be an AutoCad technician for the no doubt obscene amount of yankee dollars it fleeced you for.
