the important thing you must keep track of is, the power of the motor. The weight of the treadmill should be equal to the max. weight among the users who are using the mill. If you are above 90kg then never go for motor which is only 1hp . those may be cheap but will wear out within 6 months or so. If you are over 90, target a mill having a motor rating of 1.5 HP at normal and 2 to 2.5 at peak. Ofcourse this mill will be expensive compared to the normal ones.
