to be an elementary school teacher you need more than a certificate, you will need a Bacherlors of Education degree. That is usually a 4 year degrees, sometimes even 5 years. There is no shortcut.
If you already have a bachelors degree in something else you may be able to find an after degree program that usually takes 2 years to complete.
Qatar University has a B. Ed program, it takes 4 years to complete. If you want, you might be able to find work in a daycare if you want to get a two year Early Childhood Education diploma.
