The reason behind the issuing of tourist visa is for tourism, for a tourist to observe any interesting things here in Qatar, I think 1 month is more than enough to enjoy Qatar, since there is nothing much you can do here.

Unless if you are violating the tourist visa with hoping to find job which is illegal. You will be in trouble. Tourist visa is NOT EXTENDABLE.
