Qatar National Library (Dar Al Kutub) is located in Old Ghanam, next to Dar Al Kutub Roundabout.
To join the library you will need to take your ID card with you and a deposit of QR100. They will do the paper work straight away and issue with a library card. You are entitled to borrow up to 3 books per library card.
The library has good range of English books but the number of books in each section is limited. Most of the books tend to be old and the children's section is very small with only 2 small shelves.
