I had two cats that were poisoned once. Turned out that some clever chap had put down rat poison. It's basically like the human drug Warfarin, that thins the blood, used for people with heart conditions. It thins the blood in a rat substantially and one nick or sneeze and it bleeds to death. My cats had eaten the poison, I lost one but the other made it back home.

We rushed him to the vets who gave him a vitamin K jab to counter the poison and he survived.

I wonder if this is the case on Salwa Road?
