Agents aren't really used to apply to get into Canada save your money and go to the immigration website as another person has indicated. The agent can only help you get through the paperwork which you can do for yourself. There really is only three categories of people they will look at:

you have lots and lots of money - you can get in by starting a business (i can't remember if its $300,000 or if it's been upped to $1,000,000)

you have skills that are in demand usually skills that take lots of education - doctors, nurses, engineers etc.

you are a political refugee.

if you are just a lowly librarian (like me) or an electrician with no papers, pretty well impossible to immigrate.
