back in my village where i come from in eastern java island in indonesia, we have ceremony to ask rain from God. we dance all nite and sacrifice some goat/cow or chicken with this meat we make fiesta and the rest we give to the river or ocean. symbolized all our sin wash away and ready for new day/rain.
