Tata Nano isn't made for International market anyway. So you don't really have to worry about having a problem of choice whether to pick a Tata Nano or a Land Cruiser while buying a car in the Gulf. Moreover, no one is forcing one to buy this car, if one could afford a Land Cruiser go buy it!!

As far as improving standard of driving is concerned, trust me the roads are so jam packed in India cos of over-population and traffic, one could barely shift into 4th or 5th gear and reaching a speed of 80 KMPH is a great speed to achieve on a non-highway road. Ratio of number of people killed in a car accident with India's population, I'd say its far lesser than what we had in Qatar in 2006. 2007 was an improvement in Qatar ofcourse.
